Where do I find my personal identification number?

You get your personal identification number (PKZ) from the Studierendenwerk when you move in. You'll find it in two places:

• on your rental agreement
• on statements of the bank account the Studierendenwerk debits your rent from

When does passwordless login work?

Your account offers a login without a password. It only works if your connection can be clearly identified and matched to you – that is, if you're connecting through your own socket in the dorm.

In shared flats or other multi-occupancy housing, passwordless login usually does not work, because several people share the same connection and it can't be uniquely matched to one person. In that case, use the regular login with username and password.
